The groupies.
The booze.
The fans.
The drugs.
The horns.

You think you may know what it’s like when a rock star goes on tour but five bucks and a Royal Blunt says you don’t know everything - especially when it comes to King Gordy and company. And, there is more to a summer tour, like spending most of your day in a packed van, hanging out with the same eight people day in and day out and of course the groupies, the booze, the fans, the drugs and, those legendary horns.

This is the summer life of a burgeoning rock star as he hits the truck stop
lined U.S. roads for nightly performances with D12, Slum Village and Bone
Crusher…
It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad fucking world out there.

Friday, August 13 2:23p.m. (EST) Homecoming
We’ve been home for awhile and I miss being on the road. Every show was an
experience, except for Austin and Pittsburgh. We played a very, very small
venue in Pittsburgh and the Austin show was outside in the middle of the
day…it just wasn’t my thing…I have a really dark tone. The State Theatre
show was the best show as far as out performance. I felt a different type of
energy…I just had tons of energy. Because we were home, I tried to make it
the best show that I possibly could. We have a hometown advantage in
Detroit. I’m a lyrical sportsman…

Monday, July 19 12:05p.m. (EST) A word for George W.
We are driving to D.C. right now. If I see George W. Bush I will tell him to
fire the whole D.E.A staff. They are unnecessary and we don’t need them in
this country…
Marv Won is injured. His leg is busted or some shit. We have been having an
ongoing water fight with D12. In the last battle, I ran but Marv didn’t see
them coming. He slipped and fell and twisted his ankle or knee or something.
He is still performing, just staying stationary.

Friday, July 16 2:15p.m. (EST) Everything’s peachy
No, I did not go to Disney Land when we were in Orlando. I am 27-years-old.
I want to go to the strip clubs, I don’t care about Mickey Mouse. I liked
New Orleans better. We had some damn good food when we were there, but we
weren’t there long enough to really see the city. But you know me, I am just
getting’ high and being the rock star that I was born to be. Bango is
getting’ liquored but I am getting’ high and stayin’ high. We are in Atlanta
now, just hangin’ out…Did you know that I can get groupies in every city?
Yeah, every city except for red-neck fuckin’ Austin.

Thursday, July 8 10:30a.m. (CST) Baby, we’re in Kansas
Last night, we drove thru the fuckin’ tornado capital of the world. So, we
left Denver and were heading down the highway, to Austin, when all of the
sudden we hear about a tornado on the radio and don’t think much of it until
we start to see these little tornado clouds. Yes, I felt like I was in the
movie Twister and was waiting for a fuckin’ cow to fly by us. We stopped
under a bridge to look at the clouds. We drove away from it and went into
the basement for some country kitchen place then ended up inside the
basement for a Holiday Inn or some shit like that. But black clouds were
literally following me. Because of the fuckin’ tornados we have been on the
road for about 20 hours. But I’m high and we made it to Austin so everything
is alright.

First Entry:
Monday, June 28 3:04p.m. (PSD) San Francisco hotel
We’ve played shows in Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis and Seattle and now we
are hitting the West Coast. All of this driving…but I get through it with
the White Stripes, Nirvana and a little Andre 3000. Everyone else might get
tired of it, but I don’t give a fuck. Kurt Cobain is my favorite driving
music. I could listen to him for hours.
I’ve never seen the Pacific Ocean before but I did see the bridge today…that
was sweet. Maybe in San Diego I will see the beach. Oh, and Cali has the
best weed in the world. There are groupies around but I don't care. All I
care about is the weed.
